Night at the Museum

Every November Denver has Arts Week. As part of this week, many if the Denver museums open late for free. Last year and this year, we trekked up the Denver Children's Museum. We get there right when it starts at 5, and by the time we're ready to leave and eat a late dinner (around 7 or 7:30), the museum is packed but we got to enjoy it without the crazy crowds. It was fun to watch Julia interact with the older kids and see how she held her own. She has her own way of taking a stand without screaming or hitting. Often without saying anything. Here are some pictures of all the fun Julia had.

Shopping. Pretend food (cooking) and shopping are some of Julia's favorite pastimes.

I helped Julia load up her newly bought groceries.

No trip to the children's museum would be complete without a visit to the bubble room.

I can't find a picture from last year, but this was from when we went in March. She's grown so much!!
