Science and Nature

Lately Julia has been very interested in science, thanks to the PBS Kids shows Dinosaur Train, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That, and Sid the Science Kid. We decided to take her to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science on Good Friday since Micah had the day off. She was so excited to show him the dinosaur bones that we had seen a month earlier on our short visit. The entire ride up Julia talked about seeing Jupiter (she pronounces it Jupt-ti-ter), the dinosaur bones, and the moose diorama. Here are a few picture highlights of our visit.

Comparing ourselves to different dinosaurs. A compsognathus (the small one), a brachiosaurus, and a tyrannosaurus rex.

Trying to fly like a pteranodon, Julia's favorite dinosaur.
