SNOW!!

As you can probably guess from the title, it snowed last night! You may be thinking, isn't it still October?! To quote a movie, "Yeah...it's the Rockies!"

It varied depending on where in town you were, but the accumulation was anywhere between 1/4" to 1" deep. It was really striking how beautiful it was. I love to see God's creativity--and being here among the mountains we see it frequently.

I only have these pictures to show for it, though. I had contemplated taking the camera with me on my drive to work so I could take pictures of the entire area covered in snow (it resembled a Christmas card), but unfortunately I decided against my better judgment. Don't fret, though...there will be many-an-opportunity to take and share pictures of the snow-covered mountains and foot-hills.

As cool (pardon the pun) as the snow was, this was a really small, wimpy snow. It was pretty much all gone by the end of the day. That's not a testament to the change in temperature, so much as what it says about the intensity of the sun, as it was still cold. Luckily, this weekend we'll be back up in the 60's!

Until Next Time...
