Warmer Thoughts

Remember in one of our first blog posts that I said we'd fill you in on any story that we had left out of our summary of the first few months here? I though of one. My birthday! It was pretty sweet. One of the few times I haven't celebrated it in St. Louis.

It was a great day...err, weekend. With it falling on Sunday, we did some pretty cool things during the entire weekend. My favorite of which was Tiffany surprising me with homemade burritos at a picnic in a park that overlooked the Peak.

What was more, my family sent me gifts and cards which made me feel very loved. One of the presents was my very own "man grill". We use it about once a week. Here's me making (charring) hamburgers (notice the moon in the background):

Now, my dad's grill is nicknamed "Elsie" because it's big enough to grill an entire cow. So is mine! Granted, I have to grill a few pieces at a time, but I could grill an entire cow! I'm still trying to think of a good name for it. Maybe just "man grill".

Until Next Time...
