On July 1st my mom's group had play date plans to go to the minor league baseball team's $2 Tuesday. We didn't buy our tickets ahead of time figuring there would be some left the day of the game. The weather forecast threatened rain during game time and the game didn't start until after bedtime. We didn't want to buy tickets and then have it rain or the girls be too tired to go. We parked across the street (free) and walked over. On our way to the box office, a man from the day's sponsor stopped us and asked if we had tickets. Then he gave us free tickets for all of us! We were also given Sox the Fox masks for each girl, so they wore them to show their team spirit. The couple behind us ordered some cotton candy, which was too much for them to eat. And since Julia is so cute, they offered the rest of their bag to her. She was thrilled. This also meant we took the long route back to the car with lots of running to get out all that sugar before bed. It was a great free night. And the Sky Sox won too.

Posing at her first baseball game. Very happy to be there.
There's too many interesting things at a baseball stadium to look at the camera.
Outside the stadium are giant concrete baseballs which are really fun to hug apparently.
And sit on.
