Crazy Savings!
An indoor "farmer's market" just opened last week. It's more like a grocery store than what I usually think of as a farmer's market. But it is much better than a farmer's market cause it has all the same things a regular grocery store has too. The prices for the spices are amazing, they have some great selections that you can't find anywhere, and their produce prices are out of this world. They are so great that the company calls them "Silly Prices". Today was my first time there and I bought 3 pounds of strawberries, 5 pounds of peaches, 5 green peppers, 2 pounds of onions, a gallon of orange juice, 4 red peppers, 5 pounds of bananas, 1 pint of blueberries, and 2 pounds of cherries all for less than it costs me to fill my little car with gas! Now for those of you who are thinking "holy cow! They are going to eat all that this week!" No, we are not. We make a lot of smoothies and use the onions and peppers in a lot of our cooking, so we will be chopping and freezing these items. But with those prices, you can't go wrong! If anyone has a Sunflower Farmer's Market near them, I highly recommend going.
